Companies often find the urge to switch between on-premises and Exchange Online setups. To make your exchange online mailboxes move to on-premises, you can utilize the remote move migration wizard in the EAC. This will help you move existing mailboxes in the cloud to the on-premises Exchange organization.

Open the EAC and go to Office 365 > Recipients > Migration. Then Click the Add+ button and select the option “Migrate from Exchange Online”. From the Select Users Page and Add+. Now you can add the users from Exchange Online users that you wish to migrate to the on-premises setup within the organization. Click OK and Next.

Next, on the Confirm Migration End-point, make sure you verify the FQDN of on-premises Exchange server. Next, you’ll have to create a new name for the migration batch and add a target database.

For expert consultation and support, contact a MachSol expert and get details on automatically completing the migration batch.

Microsoft SharePoint can be used to create FAQs or knowledge bases. One way to create FAQs in SharePoint is to create a custom list with metadata. It can be done by creating three columns: Column 1 can be a question, Column 2 can be the Answer and Column three can be the category under which that FAQ falls. This type of list can be easily customized with metadata and thus users can view and sort Questions and Answers as per their liking.

Another way to create FAQs in SharePoint is through the Discussion Board Web part. It provides some interesting user interface capabilities like allowing the users to list conversations in the form of a forum. The FAQ can thus become a social platform to discuss the question at hand.

To create knowledge bases, there is an option to create Wikis. In this way, there is an option to add text, images and other multimedia into the post. To get help with your next SharePoint FAQs compilation, feel free to contact a MachSol representative.
